OVERVIEW & SCHEDULE

STEM Camp program is 2 days long in each city (Friday & Saturday)
The first session will be on Friday April 8th, 2016
The last session will be on Friday May 21st, 2016
The session at each city will be held in the university’s recreation facility.

Friday:

3:00 pm: Panel of local and international experts will discuss:
– Importance of girls’ education and the role of STEM
– How this project will affect girls’ education and how it will help build sustainable development

Saturday:

9:30am – 10:30am: Talk session of instructor talking about STEM and explaining how to make the product of the project

10:30am – 12:30pm: 100 girls will divide into 10 groups, and each group will build the product with the help of an expert educator

14:00am – 15:30pm: Each group will present their product to the audience and a committee of judges from each city – Head of education, business leaders, civic society activist, university professors will serve as judges

16:00pm: 2 girls will be drawn from a raffle to win the STEM Summer Study Abroad in the U.S.A. and South Korea
